Wir suchen Verstärkung für unser dynamisches und multikulturelles Team am Forschungsstandort Frankfurt. Der Innovation Campus Frankfurt (I.C.F.) ist einer der fünf Innovation Campuses von Air Liquide.
Unsere Aktivitäten sind eng mit den Themen der Energiewende verbunden. Wir konzentrieren uns auf die drei Moleküle H2, CO und CO2. Gemeinsam entwickeln wir innovative Lösungen, z.
B.

auf dem Gebiet der nachhaltigen Wasserstoffproduktion, der Dekarbonisierung von Industriegasen, der Energieerzeugung und -speicherung, unterstützt durch fortschrittliche Methoden im Bereich der Digitalisierung.

Missions and Responsibilities

Technical and economic evaluation of novel technologies in the field of renewable feedstocks, hydrogen production, purification, storage and utilisation
Collect and develop the necessary data and information by means of process flow diagrams, process simulation, mass and energy balancing as well as basic equipment sizing for cost estimates (Capex, Opex)
Deepdive into the development of future energy market and technologies scenarios
Literature and patent survey
Process design and feasibility studies as preparation for future R&D projects

Competencies and Profile

One of our main focuses at Frankfurt Innovation Campus is to assess new low carbon technology solutions for the production, purification, storage and conversion of industrial gases.

The internship applicant is expected to be flexible, interested in new technologies and work methodologies, have a quick learning can-do attitude, and to satisfy the majority of below mentioned requirements.

Advanced M.Sc. student in chemical/process engineering
Good knowledge of process design and simulation tools (e.g. Aspen Plus, Hysys)
Good knowledge of Excel (HTML language beneficial)
English fluent in spoken and written
Experience in Biomass conversion, syngas production and/or cost estimation would be beneficial
