- The development, creation and implementation of Incident Response plans, procedures and policies which will effectively combat and address Cyber Security incidents.
- Be someone who will overlook, monitor and discuss the analysis of Security alerts from various source including threat intelligence, logs and security tools.
- Be an SME and leader in thorough investigations of Security Incidents to figure out scope, impact and root causes.
- Point of contact for legal teams, technical teams, members of law enforcement, regulatory authorities and other key stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with trends, market information, trends, certifications, tools and industry standards / best practices.
- Organise & coordinate response to active and/or real time threats with the appropriate resources and teams.
- Knowledge of hacker techniques, tools, motivations with familiarity of security technologies like IDS/IPS, advanced endpoint protection and of course antivirus solutions.
- A detailed understanding of various operating systems such as Windows, OS x, Linux and UNIX. Would be great to have Cloud experiences too.
- Efficient within multilayer security architectures and controls.
- A demonstrable knowledge of encompassing mainframes, databases, web, middleware and virtual environments. Experience and expertise within network architecture, including firewalls. routers, switches and load balancers.
- Analyse file system images, network packet captures and memory images.
- Proficiency in well known tools such as Autopsy, Kali, Axiom, EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, XRY, Blacklight, Nuix and more. Also efficient in Splunk for for indicator pivoting, tracking and analysis.
- Multi-tasking within formulating effective plans, communicating with customers and leadership and being able to work under pressure at times.
- German language skills are essential.
- Incident and Forensic Certifications such as SANS, CREST, GIAC and other industry leading standards.
- Programming abilities in tools such as C, Java, SQL, Python and similar. Also having experience with shell scripting in tools such as PowerShell, Bash and WMI.
- Use of debuggers and/or de-compilers.
- Ability to speak other languages.

TRIA Recruitment Consulting are looking within Germany for Cyber Security / Digital Forensics & Incident Response Managers and Senior Managers for their client who is a globally renowned 3rd party services provider globally. This role will be based from Frankfurt and/or Berlin with a flexibility for working style whether it be hybrid or from the office.
This role will be supporting one of the Forensic Services leader in delivering into large scale and intriguing Digital Forensics & Incident Response projects and requirements. These investigations will be complex, intricate and exciting for those with a passion for IT Security and trying to solve problems sometimes from a national and international scale. The different types of Cyber Threats you may come into contact are Malware, Data Theft, DDoS, Data Breaches, Email Compromise and more. You'll also be helping to develop juniors, be face to face with clients to calm and reassure in high pressure scenarios and finally be a point of contact SME for technical concepts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to continue their development and experiences within the Digital Forensics and Incident Response domain as well as a vast budget for further training & development, a salary of between €85,000 - €110,000 depending on experiences, a significant bonus and other standard corporate benefits.
Whilst we are open to considering profiles from across the EU, please note that the higher benchmarking of the salary is for German Native or C1 level above speaking as clients prefer to navigate conversations in their local dialect. We will consider B level German speakers but they will potentially have to consider a lower level.
