A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Assurance Director (f/md/) for Siemens Energy Assurance, you will have global responsibility to plan, execute and report audit engagement, manage and develop a strong team, and work together with the Head of Assurance EMEA to drive operational excellence and develop the department.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the project execution and accounting standards.

You will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and leadership abilities. Additionally, a solid background in accounting, auditing, risk management and data analytics is preferred for this position.

This position reports to the Head of Assurance EMEA.

How You'll Make an Impact

Lead, direct and perform the activities for corporate audits, with accountability for the planning, alignment, execution and reporting of audit activities in accordance with the approved annual audit plan.
Implement quality gates and ensure that the audits performed meet International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
Meet with crossfunctional business leadership teams (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Project Management, Control, Procurement, Sales, Marketing) during audit planning to gain an understanding of business processes, risks and challenges of the function to be audited.
Support the annual risk assessment process to evaluate the likelihood and impact of risks for the organization and support the advancement of data analytics to automate tasks, expand audit coverage and increase team efficiency.
Manage, develop, and coach staff to ensure effective operation of the function as well as supervise direct reports and promote their

- professional development through mentoring, career coaching, and the annual performance feedback process.

Build and lead high performing teams both in project and line organizations.

What You Bring

Bachelor's Degree in a businessrelated course of study. Master's Degree, CPA, ACCA, ACA or CFA, preferred.

- processes, and products is preferred. Experience within a *Big 4- accounting firm mandatory.

Experience performing audits of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAS) to ensure compliance with GAAP required.
Experience leading teams and proven staff development capabilities.
Significant international travel may be required.
