Job Description:

YOUR NEW ROLE:

In your role as Expert Seasonal - Sourcing Office EU (m/d/w) you will be responsible for executing the defined sourcing & supplier management strategies for the Seasonal category, in accordance with established processes and procedure.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

Close collaboration with international crossfunctional teams (supply chain, own brand management, quality assurance, category management) and suppliers to ensure a smooth and efficient product launch and on time deliveries.
Identify and manage risks, gaps, and other issues throughout the product development process.
Development of an efficient and powerful European supplier portfolio.
Executing a transparent tendering process involving the other sourcing offices to ensure the best offers are identified.
Performing supplier evaluation & analysis, managing supplier qualification process.
Evaluation and comparison of samples with the support of quality assurance team.
Contract management (creation, validation and follow up of supplier contracts).
Facetoface negotiations with suppliers on prices, delivery conditions, etc.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years work experience in Procurement/Sourcing and/or Category management processes.
Proven negotiating skills in dealing with international suppliers.
Entrepreneurial spirit, strong customer and market orientation, analytical & strategic skills.
Market knowledge of responsible category (Seasonal) would be an advantage.
Highly flexible attitude in an international working environment, readiness to travel for suppliers visits and fairs throughout Europe
Advanced MS Office skills (especially MS Excel).
Fluent in English (verbal and written), other languages are a plus.
