ABOUT YOUR ROLE:


As
Controller,** you will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager in a 3-person Finance & Operations team to drive our growing business with currently approx.

35 local and 14 international consultants in all controlling matters. You will work closely with the consultants on project bids and project controlling.


We have been growing as a global social impact consultancy in recent years and want to further expand our offering.

Therefore, we are looking for a capable Controller with a passion for the fast-paced consulting world and the motivation to support the development of humanity towards more equal opportunities worldwide.

This position is in part-time with 20 hours per week.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Responsibility for controlling our consulting projects: Budgeting takes place in close coordination with our project managers. Creation of planactual analyses in order to identify deviations from targets in the projects at an early stage and develop countermeasures with the project managers
  • Proactive Communication with the project managers on issues relating to customer contracts, budgets, invoicing and internal regulations
  • Further development of our PowerBI reporting system
  • Automatization of our invoicing processes (incoming and outgoing invoices) as well as parts of our contract management

ABOUT YOU:

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT FOR THIS EXCITING ROLE:

  • A degree in economics, preferably with a focus on controlling/finance
  • 34 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in project controlling
  • Experience in dashboard optimization, reporting and KPI systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team player with great communication skills
  • Affinity to automate processes and interest in digital solutions of the future
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Basic skills in PowerBI
  • Fluent in German & English
  • Accounting and Datev would be a plus
