Summary:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Sr.

Industrial Designer (ID) to design outstanding PC Gaming Products, like Gaming Mice, Keyboards, Headsets, and Accessories mainly for the Brand ROCCAT.

You will be part of a team of Industrial Designers, Model makers, Product Managers, and Engineers.

Together with the Head of ID, your role is to supervise the whole Design process from the first briefing to the final Mass production.

You understand to design products for a specific price range, but you also never get tired to push to the limits of the possibilities with production limitations in mind.

With your ability, you can create communicative hand sketches.

You can build up your ideas in CAD and create 3D renderings to present your ideas to the team and the stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design the next generation of outstanding gaming peripherals
• Work on challenging projects having complex functional and aesthetic demands and very sensitive ergonomic requirements
• Work in a highly motivated creative environment with international product designers
• Develop wellrounded skills as you work on projects holistically; from research and concept creation, including sketching, clay modeling, ergonomic studies, user testing, and 3D CAD, and continuously refine the design during the whole development process with our teams and production partners in Asia
• Challenge your form and creative skills and create a new design language
• Visualize and present concepts to our stakeholders to establish and evaluate design concepts for new product design
• Manage a small team of Junior Industrial Designers

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Automotive Design
• 3+ years of product design experience
• Preferably 23 years experience with Management of Junior Designers
• Proficient visual communication skills sketching, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design
• Technical understanding and knowledge in injection molding, tooling, and production
• Highly creative and demonstrates a passion for design
• Understand brand image and how it relates to a product language
• A handsonmentality and practical mindset
• Profound knowledge of CAD (Rhino, Alias or Fusion, or another similar), Keyshot, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
