Your Profile:

You are currently enrolled in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable field of study
A committed, conscientious and independent way of working
The willingness to face new challenges
A fundamental interest in the field of fluid technology
Responsible handling of sensitive measurement technology

Advantageous but not necessary are:

Previous knowledge of Matlab/ Simulink
Experience in laboratory work
Experience with measurement technology and electrical engineering

You are interested in long-term employment. Lower previous knowledge due to low study semester is not an obstacle in this context.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

Your scope of duties is versatile and individually adaptable. You will mostly work in our oil laboratory and the experimental field of the institute. The tasks will probably cover the following topics and will be related to current projects and research questions. A previous familiarization with the corresponding topics will take place as needed.

Handling of chemicals and laboratory equipment
Investigation and determination of substance data
Calibration of sensors
The electrical and software integration of measurement technology
The evaluation of measurement results and their documentation

What We Offer:

The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date and offered for a fixed term up to
The contract can be renewed on a quarterly basis.
This is a part-time contract position.
The standard weekly hours will be 8-13 hours.
The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.
The position corresponds to a pay grade of 12,00 € per hour.
