Position overview:
Responsibilities:

Derive product profiles from market needs and develop/adapt products accordingly
Global responsibility for initiating and managing projects with internal and external partners across technologies
Track and communicate relevant and current scientific and industry trends
Support the business in IP activities, create new IP and screen third party IP
Build up and maintain strong relationship to institutes, universities and industrial partners of relevance

Required skills and experience:

PhD in polymer chemistry, organic chemistry or similar, or Master degree in the respective area combined with experience in a relevant industry
Quick grasp of new and complex technological areas
Strong interpersonal and project management skills
Strong ambition and will to venture out into new technological areas
Highly structured approach to manage projects and activities
Very strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking
Welldeveloped feeling for business opportunities
Basic IP management skills
