The Opportunity


This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) in the Abbott Diabetes Care division that is focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.


As
Head of Digital & Costumer Relationship Marketing (M/F/d) you will be responsible for the development of digital & CR marketing strategies targeting both consumers and HCPs with focus on driving customer satisfaction and retention in order to take the Digital and CR Marketing towards the next level for Abbott Diabetes Care in Germany.


What You'll Do

  • Leading the digital and CRM team in a motivating and agile way to ensure effective and efficient handling of tasks and resources to deliver against commercial objectives.
  • Developing and implementing an integrated communication strategy across the digital & CRM ecosystem for the diverse target groups to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Driving next level content management capabilities, content quality and performance and fuel the digital and CRM ecosystem in a multichannel way to drive a holistic brand experience.
  • Guiding and driving on quality and performance optimization for the owned B2C and B2B digital channels (incl. Websites/SEO/SEA, Social Channels and Retention Platform) and CRM platforms and campaigns (Selligent, Salesforce, Veeva).
  • Keeping abreast of the latest digital, CR marketing and technology trends
  • Developing next level retention marketing capabilities incl. personalization, multichannel activation, and automation.
  • Supervising and upgrading the relevant Agency infrastructure and budget management.
  • Fostering close collaboration and seamless communication with Brand Management, HCP marketing, Media, ecommerce, Customer Service and EMEA/GSM marketing
  • Input into AREA digital/CRM marketing strategies and form effective cross regional teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • University degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 10+ years of experience and successful track record in leading Digital Marketing and CRM teams in B2C (or B2B) facing industries.
  • Excellent People Management skills and experience in leading large and diverse teams
  • In depth and excellent experience in content management and multichannel distribution across all digital media types
  • Significant experience in developing and activating breakthrough digital marketing campaigns across digital media channels
  • Experience with CRM and/or Direct Marketing, ideally in an ecommerce environment.
  • Proven track record in leading and collaborating with Digital, CRM and Communication Agencies
  • Extensive experience in digital and CRM performance tracking and analytics
  • Experience in management of extensive marketing budgets
  • Experience with Web, Digital and CRM analytics and performance management.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills
  • Willingness to travel %)
