- has strong links with Loads, Systems, Materials & Processes, Manufacturing and In-Service Engineering departments to create the certification basis for our components. We support the aircraft design during the concept, development and certification phases. We provide E2E support from design, production to in-service repair or operator queries.

Your Master Thesis:

Sustainable structures optimization

  • Structural Optimization of composite VTP components.
To this day, aircraft structural components are made with one major design goal in mind: weight reduction.

Since the implications of today's materials and manufacturing processes are scrutinized more and more towards more sustainable concepts, our vision is to start this journey with one of the first large components fully made of CFRP decades ago:
the Vertical Stabilizer.

The goal of this master thesis will be to assess the possibilities of VTP components being made from sustainable/recyclable materials.
