For Europe, with approximately 400 terminals in 42 countries, we are looking for a strong leader for the function Collection & Distribution (CoDi) to steer the community and to further enhance the operations according to the given standard processes.

Your main Tasks

  • Leading the European CoDi Operations in our matrix organization
  • Develop and execute the CoDi strategy for the system Operations in alignment with the relevant stakeholders to ensure competitiveness
  • Define strategic guidance standard processes & tools for the European CoDi Operations
  • Steer investment process for our own fleet together with our clusters
  • Develop, steer and execute of the transformation process of the CoDi fleet (own and external) from diesel trucks to Etrucks will be one of the main targets within the next years.
  • Clear focus on productivity and quality to ensure that the committed quality goals for our customers are achieved.
  • Define performance management framework that allows efficient operations with high productivity incl. challenging targets and constant follow up
  • Improve process and data quality with cluster heads of CoDi
  • Support for IT rollout of CoDi tour optimization software

Profile:


  • 10+ years operational experience in forwarding
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible and creative thinking in problem solving
  • Cost and customer orientation, analytical skills
  • Fluent in written and verbal English and German / other languages is a plus
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
  • Knowledge of Parcel product and operations advantageous
