Summary

This job is responsible to be the commercial counterpart and contact person for R&D Project Managers in development projects and internal gate rounds, Cost Center controlling and Business Partner for deprtment leads, preparation and driving of the weekly SIOP process.

Education

Qualified by experience or holds a professional qualification equivalent to BWL, or a BA/BS degree in finance or accounting

Requirement profile technical
- deep knowledge of product costing for future business opportunities

Several years of relevant professional experience
Experience in a manufacturing company is desirable
Wellfounded knowledge in the area of controlling required as well as experience in the area of cost accounting and profitability analysis

- excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel

SAP knowledge (FI, CO, IM, PS) is a must have
Oracle& Hyperion (HFM) and Power BI knowledge welcome

- advanced language skills in English, ideally C1 and above

German language skills at least on B2 level

Areas of responsibility

Tasks Department

Support and partial management of budgeting and reporting processes, including the development of financial targets, important key figures, multiyear planning.
Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reports according to US GAAP together with the existing controlling team
Forecasting of the global business, with defining the of deliverables, and supporting of the improvement to better business results
Providing analysis for new business opportunities, customer prices and product developments
Active monitoring of the business process for operational, short and mediumterm sales planning, including coordination of budget planning and evaluation of forecasts
Assistance with investment planning and the capital approval process
Proactive identification of process improvements, cost efficiency initiatives and improvement of existing controlling processes

- being part of the group-wide strategic planning process

Support for special projects if necessary.
Preparing weekly backlog report to management

General tasks

Initiation and active participation in measures for synchro processes
Active participation in the innovation process
Strict adherence to quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations and implementation of the instructions from quality / environmental management officers and the occupational safety specialist
Strict compliance with quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations and implementation of the instructions of quality/environmental management representatives and the occupational safety specialist
