- Experience: Minimum of 12 months of verifiable Accounting using Defense Travel System (DTS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GCCS-A and DPAS). DTS Experience may be waived by S-8 OIC or completed Finance Training Certification (40 hours or more).
- NOTE: Commercial equivalent is twelve (12) months operating as an entry level supply clerk in a property management office, responsible for accounting for major capital equipment and property (both fixed, vehicular, and specialty equipment such as specialized production line equipment, and special tools). Military equivalent is Supply Clerk E1-E4 in a Supply Room or Property Book Office Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Ensure accountability of U.S. Army's Units' equipment through accurate maintenance of Property Book Office (PBO) and or Unit (Company/Battalion/Brigade) Supply records.
- Produce monthly reports; hand receipts, cyclic and sensitive item inventories, total asset visibility reports (TAVR) and daily activity registers (DAR), maintain filing systems, maintain the document supporting file
- Conduct administrative review of cash collection vouchers, statement of charges and FLIPLs. Ensure LIN, NSN and quantity on hand is correct
- Administrative Actions may include material requisitioning, quality control (QC), financial control, meetings, and correspondence.
- Responsible for accounting for major capital equipment and property (both fixed, vehicular, and specialty equipment such as specialized production line equipment, and special tools).
- Perform PBO/Unit Supply operations at unit(s), Defense travel authorization and budgeting, in the 18th MP BDE Area of Responsibility (AOR) APPLICATION PROCESS
