    Tanya Leighton seeks a selforganised, motivated and proactive candidate for an internship from the beginning of July at a leading contemporary art gallery. We offer an insight into Berlin's contemporary art scene and all areas of gallery internship can be completed parttime or fulltime for a period of 3 months. Geared towards students who seek academic credits, the internship will be partially compensated with a stipend.
    Responsibilities (among others):
    • Creating Artists CVs, Portfolios & Press Packs
    • Management of the digital & analogue archive and database
    • Greeting gallery visitors and providing information about the current exhibition
    • General administrative tasks and running of errandsRequirements:
    • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
    • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office
    • Confident independent worker, who follows guidelines and instructions closely without oversight

    Tanya Leighton ist eine international agierende Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst mit Sitz in Berlin und Los Angeles. Wir suchen ab Anfang Juni eine motivierte und selbstständige Persönlichkeit zur Verstärkung unseres Teams in Berlin.

    Wir bieten einen Einblick in die zeitgenössische Kunstszene Berlins und in sämtliche Bereiche der Praktikum kann in Teilzeit oder Vollzeit für eine Dauer von 3 Monaten absolviert werden.

    Es richtet sich an eingeschriebene Studierende, die im Rahmen eines Pflichtpraktikums Leistungspunkte erwerben möchten, und wird mit einem Teilstipendium vergütet.


    Aufgabenbereiche (unter anderem):

    • Betreuung der Besucherinnen und Besucher
    • Erstellen von Artists CVs, Portfolios & Press Packs
    • Verwaltung des digitalen & analogen Archivs und der Datenbank

    Unterstützung des Gallery Managers bei den täglichen AufgabenVoraussetzungen:

    • sehr gute Deutsch und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
    • Sicherheit im Umgang mit Photoshop und InDesign
    • eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise und schnelle Auffassungsgabe
