As the
Quality Leader (M/F/d) you will be responsible for a team up to 5 employees, drive Quality action plan for large / complex projects in close cooperation with Value Stream Director, represent Quality Management at Customers, Audits & Emerson internal Management Meetings, travel internationally to support Sempell products in other locations, develop and implement Quality Digitalization Program by using existing Emerson Quality Software Tools to improve customers satisfaction & Korschenbroich Organization productivity.


IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:


Project related responsibilities

  • Representation of quality in interdisciplinary complex and multinational projects
  • Deliver assigned projects within agreed scope, cost budgets, timescales and quality
  • Productrelated assumption of responsibility for all quality issues and proactive communication interface in projects
  • Handling of Non-Conformance Reports with Quality Project Engineer
  • Participation in corrective and continuous improvement measures
  • Think analytically, with the ability to critically assess requirements and select "best fit" approach to meeting company and client objectives

Quality related responsibilities

  • Detailed understanding of engineering issues / processes and material related questions.
  • Analysis of customer specifications and associated Codes & Standards
  • Approval of customer and product specific quality documents, if required
  • Support of preparation / coordination of internal and external audits
  • Support in supplier development desirable
  • Common processing of major customer complaints together with PMO
  • Development of concepts and measures to ensure quality standards / processes
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Development of new standards for internal quality certificates
  • Manage crossbusiness unit work scope within Emerson where vital

Digitalization related responsibilities

  • Develop the approach; coordinate and own several projects by using EMR standard methodologies to achieve full quality digitalization
  • Optimization and standardization of processes

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Degree level education in Engineering (e.g. Process Engineering, Design, Energy, Mechanical or equivalent)
  • 5 to 8+ years of relevant professional experience in engineering, quality assurance or management
  • High level of digital literacy in regards of industry 4.0 (interconnectivity, automation, machine learning and realtime data)
  • PC skills: MS Office (proficient in excel)
  • ERP System skills (SAP / Oracle)
  • Languages: fluent in English and German
  • International and Domestic Travel 15% or more (e.g. supplier visits / visits and development of other Emerson locations)
