At Semikron Danfoss, we are currently looking for a
Head of Quality Solutions (M/F/d) to work either from our Nürnberg (Nuremberg) or Flensburg location.

This position can be fulfilled on a full-time or part-time basis.


Responsibilities:


In this role, you will define, specify and monitor activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for manufactured products and services for all production sites within the division.

You will carry out the strategic planning and execution for divisional quality on a global basis and coordinate quality standards across the division.


It will be your responsibility to establish an according governance and to steer task forces including customer quality, claim management, production quality and R&D quality as well as to ensure and foster the continuous improvement of quality standards.

Furthermore, you will develop end-to-end quality mindsets in order to improve customer satisfaction. Through this responsibility, you will drive-down warranty costs, improve ppm
- (parts per million) and yield rates and increase customer satisfaction.


You will report directly to the Head of Production Solutions while holding functional leadership over the Head of Customer Quality Solutions as well as the Head of R&D Quality Solutions.


Background & Skills

  • For this position, you have an academic degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field and bring several years of experience in the Automotive environment.

Furthermore, we are looking for:

  • Several years of experience with common automotive quality management methods and tools (e.g. 8DReport, PPAP, IATF 16949)
  • Ideally understanding of power semiconductor operation, power inverters and converters
  • Ideally knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle drive trains and battery charging systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Solutionoriented, customerfocused and structured way of working
  • Ability to teamwork and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Business fluent English and German language skills
