You'll join more than 5,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem.

YOUR TEAM:

We are the perception & Fusion Team at CARIAD.

As part of the overall Volkswagen Group software strategy we develop Software for the assisted and automated Driving up to Level 4.

Our Team of 200 software and AI experts is focused on creating a complete 360° environment model for all Driving-, Parking
- and Safety-Functions following a "Data-Driven

Approach".

As head of our "Perception & Fusion Architecture" competence centers you take responsibility for the development of a joined architecture based on our core technologies in the perception, AI and fusion domain for our 360°environment perception model.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Manage people according to CARIAD people lead guidelines
Take care of hiring and supportour project teams as servant leader
Define our technology roadmap together with our Product Management
Conceptulize and release subsystem based on release recommendations by the project teams
Specify and manage concept studies, POC, market and competitive analysis

WHO YOU ARE:

Expertise in "Software/System Architecture", AI and data fusion in the ADAS/AD context
Profound software development skills
Proven leadership experience in the software development domain, specifically in the ADAS/AD software development
Excellent knowledge in Agile Methodology
Excellent English and German language skills
