The module "Mergers & Acquisitions" is part of the Banking & Finance concentration of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

The course is structured along the value chain of an M&A-deal and provides both a framework and tools to tackle the complex issues of the process.

The course's main perspective is that of an investment bank or M&A advisory boutique.

With the help of a set of current, real-life case studies participants get a thorough blueprint of an M&A transaction.

Participants will be prepared to start working in an investment bank or M&A advisory firm.


Applicants should have

  • Extensive knowledge in the field of M&A
  • Knowledge of basic principles of company valuation
  • Didactic experience
  • Appropriate time availability for up to two parallel courses in the eight weeks
Courses are taught in small groups of usually around 40 students. The teaching language is English. Standardized material (slides etc.) will be provided.

As a lecturer, you are either qualified through your research or your professional experience. As a researcher, you will have a doctorate and regularly publish in your field of expertise. As a professional, you have a track record of several years at senior level. Prior teaching experience in higher education is desirable. We expect you to have an excellent knowledge of English.
