A vacancy for a job has arisen within Military Aircraft Finance in Manching. You will join Trainings and Systems Support F&C (TFASA) Team as Controller for Material Services (TASM).

The team comprises 7 people present in Manching supporting the Material Services CoC (Center of Competence) in Military Aircraft Services and interacting closely with colleagues in Spain and France.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Drive finance planning processes w.r.t workload, headcount and cost for the assigned CoCs providing a consistent baseline for targetsetting.
Ensure reporting for all Functions including all relevant key data (personnel costs, primary costs, P&L contribution, workload, FTEs in cooperation with HR, CapEx and other KPIs), analyse deviations and propose recovery actions together with the business.
Contribute to bids and contract execution with finance expertise and support price audits w.r.t hourly rates.
Support/drive continuous improvement in Finance processes and systems in transversal Transformation Projects.
In summary: You will be the Business Partner to the Services CoCs for all finance related matters.

Desired skills and qualifications

Degree in business administration / economics and 35 years of experience in cost center controlling and/or accounting
To be a team player developing strong links of trust with the different stakeholder (e.g. Programme Reps, CoC Representatives and other Finance Functions).
Continuous improvement spirit, accuracy and good analytical skills to give meaning to complex facts and figures
Substantiated experience in IT-Tools like SAP FI/CO/PS, MS Excel
German and English: negotiation level
