\*bonify - a Berlin-based FinTech Startup that enables customers to benefit from their credit scoring and financial data. We give customers free & easy access to their credit score and let them upload additional relevant data. Then we offer tools and personalized recommendations to help optimize our customer's financial situation.

Founded in 2015 by key executives of McKinsey and Zalando, bonify has received significant funding from international leading VCs, e.g., Mosaic Ventures and Ribbit Capital, and successful entrepreneurs, e.g., Zalando founders and Raisin founders.

Now bonify is a part of SCHUFA.

Tasks

Provide technical and personal leadership for a team of data scientists and engineers
Interact with all other teams in our startup and report the key KPIs to the Csuite
Translate business needs and strategies into viable products, planning, and road maps and exhibit a proven ability to deliver complex products to the market
Work on cuttingedge risk and credit modeling in cooperation with external partners
Work on the core of our product that optimizes our users' personal finances our microservice data analytics, with a focus on production
Build algorithmic solutions to hard problems to enable bonify to deliver insight for our customers, in realtime
Analyzing data for trends, and patterns, building new models that get built into products our users can really benefit from.
Manage a team of 3 Jr Data Science Analysts and in future increased team as per business growth

Requirements:

Passion for data modeling, optimization, and strong analytical ability
Team leadership experience 3+ years with proven communication abilities in a startup environment
Ability to motivate and inspire people
Software development experience: minimum of 45 years of Python working experience
Knowledge of packages such as TensorFlow, pandas, keras, scikitlearn, numpy, pymongo, rabbitpy is a plus
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
Knowledge of Scala
Handson mentality and approach
Pragmatism, problemsolving ability and solutionfocused approach
Demonstrated ability to work in a fastgrowing company
