In order to support the System Design, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Bachelor-Thesis in Investigation of alternative Propulsion Systems for Micro Aerial Vehicles (d/f/m):

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Market analyses of existing Propulsion systems in the area of Unmanned Aircrafts with focus on small VTOL Systems (MAV)
Assessment of the applicability of such Systems for AutonomyLab-Copter
Generation of a concept for a configuration of AutonomyLab-Copter with alternativ propulsion system
Risik assessment for the operational use

Desired skills and qualifications:

Enrolled Full time student (d/f/m) within Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field of study
Fluent in english
High proficiency working with:
Good technical knowledge
Being able to work in new technical areas
Knowledge in the area of UAVs / Propulsion systems is beneficial
