Yara Farming Solutions in Europe will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offering and the way we work.

We are seeking a motivated and talented
Data Science Intern to join our team for a
6-month internship opportunity.

This position is ideal for individuals pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields, who are required to fulfill a
mandatory internship as part of their academic curriculum.

Responsibilities:

Research and understand various machine learning anomaly detection techniques.
Collaborate with the data science team to implement and finetune machine learning models within our existing anomaly detection suite.
Analyze timeseries data from mechanical production assets to identify anomalies and develop solutions for predictive maintenance.
Document and present findings and progress reports to the team and stakeholders.

Profile:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (at least 4. Semester) or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Familiarity with machine learning anomaly detection techniques such as oneclass SVM, Isolation Forest, and autoencoders.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikitlearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Proficiency in handling and analyzing timeseries data is highly desirable.
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively present technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
