Yara Farming Solutions in Europe will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offering and the way we work.

We are seeking a motivated and talented
Data Science Intern to join our team for a
6-month internship opportunity.

This position is ideal for individuals pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields, who are required to fulfill a
mandatory internship as part of their academic curriculum.


Responsibilities:


  • Research and understand various machine learning anomaly detection techniques.
  • Collaborate with the data science team to implement and finetune machine learning models within our existing anomaly detection suite.
  • Analyze timeseries data from mechanical production assets to identify anomalies and develop solutions for predictive maintenance.
  • Document and present findings and progress reports to the team and stakeholders.

Profile:


  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (at least 4. Semester) or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with machine learning anomaly detection techniques such as oneclass SVM, Isolation Forest, and autoencoders.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikitlearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proficiency in handling and analyzing timeseries data is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively present technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
