Institute of Molecular Vascular Medicine
The newly founded 'Institute of Molecular Vascular Medicine' at the Technical University in Munich, Germany (Director: Prof. Lars Maegdefessel) is looking for a Postdoc with interest in molecular cell biology and physiology.

The project will investigate the role and function of long non-coding RNAs and somatic mutations in vascular diseases (using bulk, single, cell and spatial analysis).

Your Tasks:

To determine novel therapeutic targets in atherosclerosis and vascular diseases
Functional assessment of somatic mutations in cell culture systems
Involvement in analyses of single cell, bulk RNA and spatial transcriptomic datasets

Your profile:

You are a highly motivated, curious, and communicative scientist with a Ph.

D. in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or related fields

You have experience in cell biology and preclinical models to establish mechanisms controlling cell function
You have experience and interest in the analyses of single cell and bulk RNA sequencing data
You show a strong commitment, motivation, and discipline to work independently and efficiently
You are a strong team player with the ability to work together with colleagues from various disciplines
You show an excellent ability to communicate, present, and write in English
