As part of our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Senior Accountant in Heusenstamm, Germany, to assist with the monthly and quarterly IFRS closing and reporting in collaboration with our Center of Excellence.

We're seeking a fully qualified accounting professional who has experience operating within an international business. Conversant in German GAAP and preferably IFRS. PoC accounting knowledge is also preferred, with hands-on experience with SAP.

Main responsibilities:


  • Monthly and quarterly IFRS closing and reporting in collaboration with our Center of Excellence
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Lease Accounting (IFRS 16)
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Preparing misc. statistics to external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the preparation of the local financial statements with German GAAP

Tasks and Qualifications:


  • General Ledger Accounting
  • Closing of external books/reports (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual)
  • Qualified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or similar
  • 5 Years+ of professional experience in an international environment
  • English language fluent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • PoC Accounting knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of German GAAP is required, IFRS is preferable
  • Handson experience with SAP
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
