Internship - Failure Analysis, QALab, Nabern Germany
Scope:
This is a summer internship program for 2-3 months to support on the following tasks:
- Perform Electrical and Physical Failure Analysis on Integrated Circuits devices to establish defects/damages which cause malfunctioning of the IC.
- Construction analysis on existing and new packagedie assembly.
Learning Outcome:
Will gain hands-on experience with various Failure Analysis (FA) equipment and methods, example: physical sample preparation methods, optical and digital microscopy, SEM, EDX, FIB and 2D-3D X-Ray.
The final goal is finding and understanding defect/damages of the ICs by using Failure Analysis methodology, also getting familiar with manufacturing-processing of semiconductor packaged devices.

- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
