Then join our 18-month Graduate Program and shape the future of ZEISS.Your profileCompleted field of study in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldPractical experience gained, for example, as an intern or working student (maximum of 1,5 years)First experience in an Operations optimization or operational excellence role, ideally in a consultancy environmentUnderstanding of production optimization principles (like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management)Profound skills in common MS Office applicationsInterest in challenging project tasks and associated challengesFlexibility to work at different ZEISS locations in Germany and internationally during the programFluent in English & German, both written and spoken, further languages beneficialYour RoleDuring the 18 months, you will rotate between 4 different ZEISS departments across the company's different business units and possibly also abroad.
During the program, you will also take part in several training sessions, workshops and project work that enhances your professional and personal development.
All this aims at enabling you to hit the ground running after completing the program – and make you familiar with the basics to kickstart your tasks within the program:Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize Operation processes and increase efficiencyConsult internal customers developing holistic solutions based on best practice approaches with a focus on standardizationIdentify opportunities for improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvementsSupport the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean ManufacturingAssist in coaching, educating, and developing continuous improvement skills and competencies globallyÜber unsSich etwas Neues trauen, über sich hinauswachsen und dabei die Grenzen des Machbaren neu definieren.
