Social Strategist

The role we want you to play...


You'll work with the VP of Creative and the wider creative team to create, deliver and optimise brilliant content, that works brilliantly - on every channel, in every market, across the globe.

Giving our partners an authentic and powerful platform to perform on every campaign.


You'll use your personal and professional platform expertise to bring innovation and team education to each piece of work that you touch.

Ensuring bold ideas work effectively in new, unexpected and disruptive executions, on today's ecosystem of channels. Specifically, you'll help to shape ideas around the latest channel features leading to immersive, native and intoxicating creative activity.


You'll cut through in culture for our biggest client partners by concepting and connecting rigorous creative strategies that provide a seamless and harmonious link between paid and organic social content.


And you'll help us and our partners continue to grow at the scale of the platforms by working with a diverse pool of creator talent.

Ensuring we collaborate and co-create across disciplines to build the next generation of brand and product communications for the world's best brands.


Responsibilities


You will work as part of the Organic Social Product, delivering content and strategy with Google Germany creative social teams, ensuring that best practices, amazing social, and best in class creative storytelling is deployed across both clients, and bringing learnings from one to another.


  • Can create an overall social platform strategy for organic and paid social, able to speak to and define the role of channel, role of platform, asset type, messaging framework and user journey.
  • Understands the role of each platform and channel and can steer creatives on best practice for the channels we are creating for, creation of creative briefs to these guidelines.
  • Understands the formats and content specifically for Facebook, Instagram, Snap, TikTok, YouTube & Twitter.
  • Can showcase best in class examples of social executions and how this has driven performance for other businesses.
  • Has an understanding of creators and their role in social campaigns, allowing us to participate in briefs and guide them on the creation of social content.
  • Has a German market understanding and has worked previously on big brands and complex social strategies.
  • Is able to analyse the audience demographic and understand and support this audience data in briefs.
  • Can create social briefs with social and audience insights that shape and form the vision for the creative team to develop.
  • Understands and is able to set performance and measurement KPI's for social.
  • Is a good story teller and can work closely with Partners to showcase our knowledge and drive value for their businesses.
  • Is able to create recommendations from reporting insights and also analyse other interesting competitors / indirect competitors in market.
  • Is a team player and willing to go above and beyond to drive value for clients.
  • Is able to condense the strategy simply for clients into top level slides for senior leadership.
