VP Product Accounts Payable and Data & Document Management (M/F/d)

Your tasks:

Lead the team:

Responsible to disciplinary and functionally lead a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts (if applicable) and Product Marketing Managers for your solution area.

Be our driver:

You are the key driver for the commercial success of your products by taking responsibility of business case creation and achieving expected ROI and by collaborating with other functions like Pre-Sales, Sales, Partner Management, Product Marketing and Consulting to maximize product success.

Marketing:

You are responsible for creating product related content from product documentation to marketing materials to support go-to-market activities & success.

Strategy expert:

The individual product strategy and its execution by evaluating market trends, customer requirements / feedback and competition strategies is in your hand.

You are in charge of the execution of the strategy by taking end-to-end responsibility for roadmap planning and requirement management from strategic, tactical to operational level balancing functional, non-functional and operational requirements.

Representer:

You will represent all products in your solution area in internal and external events as well as in customer projects and escalations.

Improvement:

You ensure continuous improvement in the product as well as the product's compliance to market needs, regulations quality wrapped in a product experience that continuously and consistently delights the consumers.

Make excellent software:

You are responsible to deliver well-defined requirements, backlog prioritization, adherence to DoR/DoD standards, functional designs and shaping the self-image of the Product function towards Design Thinking furthermore you are in charge of execution and compliance to the globally defined Software Development Process, tooling and standards achieving excellence and scalability.

Your profile:

Convincing functional background:
You are bringing at least 7 years of relevant professional experience in a high-ranking Product Management position or in a comparable position within a SaaS / B2B software industry leader

Finance expertise:
You bring domain expertise in the fields of Accounts Payable and Data Capture, ideally paired with expertise around the leading ERPs (specifically SAP) and how they can be enhanced

Impact & customer mindset:

You have a genius interest in understanding customer impact/benefits and design products that yield superior business results for them.

You do not shy away from direct customer interactions.

Strategic thinker:
You are able to combine strategic thinking with strong execution qualities

Process excellence:
Strong understanding of design processes and outcomes, in depth knowledge of requirement management at glance, agile software development processes and practices

People leader:
You represent a caring and calm personality which takes energy from leading and developing a globally distributed team while you are not afraid of taking difficult decisions

Output orientation:
You are an entrepreneurial mind and used to delivering superior product results in demanding / fast-paced environments. You are able to conceptualize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.

Networker & opinion leader:
You are able to build bridges, interact across all levels of an organization and show a strong executive presence

Hands-on mentality: You are close to the details, are able to lead by example and hold yourself accountable for performance by taking absolute ownership for the product function

International:

Readiness to work in an international environment with different cultures and multiple time zones; international travel is required; fluency in English; German is a plus.
