Hey, we are farmie a plug & play hydroponic vertical farm solution, and we are starting a new era of growing your own fresh food

We are looking for someone to join our team for a full time internship starting immediately

As a team of vertical farming pioneers and experienced professionals in the food sector, we have designed farmie with the mission to address the main challenges of potential vertical farming users with pinpoint accuracy:
simple plug-in-ready setup,
- low energy costs,

‍ easily trainable operations and

high yield
- all wrapped up in a cutting-edge design that seamlessly fits into any space.

farmie requires only one power socket and 1m2 of space to grow up to 720 plants per month. With the integrated seedling drawer the greens are grown from seed to harvestable crop in one spot. farmie is made and designed in Germany (based in Berlin) and currently shipping EU-wide.

Aufgaben

  • You will be responsible in the operational area of horticultural activities (production of seedlings, harvesting, boniting of plants, maintenance and control of the farms)
  • You will support the Sales / Marketing / Customer Success team in, among other things, social media maintenance / content creation /
Qualifikation

  • You are looking for a (mandatory) internship for your university studies (e.g. agricultural sciences, biotechnology, biology or similar)
  • You have experience working with plants and a green thumb.
  • You have an inquisitive mentality and find it easy to solve problems creatively, effectively and efficiently.
  • You have an eye for detail and keep track of the big picture.
  • You want to make a difference and develop yourself → selfmotivation and independence are your hallmarks
  • You are a team player with social skills responsible, independent and structured.
  • You have business fluent English and in best case also German skills.
  • You have a class B driver's license.
