European Patent Attorney (IP Group Creation)

Your Responsibilities:


  • Drafting Patent Applications for global protection
  • Contributing to the Selection of Inventions for patent protection
  • Periodically reviewing parts of the company's patent portfolio, along with technical experts
  • Providing advice to inventors
  • Acting as first point of contact to Inventor and Business Teams on all aspects of IP, and partnering/advising on Patent Creation issues

Your Experience:


  • You have graduated in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Materials science, with a good knowledge of electronics/semiconductors, and strong math skills
  • You have full qualification as a European Patent Attorney, and preferably are have, or are working towards, German Patent Attorney qualification
  • You either have worked in an industrial IP department, or have substantial experience drafting and prosecuting patents for direct clients
  • Experience in the field of device security/protection, particularly in an AIenabled environment, would be an advantage
  • Preferably you have experience of either portfolio management or use of patents in support of business goals

Your Profile

  • You are a selfstarter with proven ability to organize your own work with a high level of autonomy and having excellent timemanagement skills, and are comfortable as both client and serviceprovider
  • You have solid written and verbal communication skills both in German and in the corporate language of English
  • You are comfortable working in interdisciplinary global teams encompassing a broad range of cultural norms
  • You thrive in a fastchanging multinational corporate environment
