At Evotec's headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Global Controlling and FP&A Team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated

Senior Strategic Controller (all genders)

Full time and permanent

Your key responsibilities:

Global Strategic Controller, based in any Evotec location and preferably in HQ Hamburg
Perform economic analysis and insights for growth and efficiency projects
Prepare business plans and present business cases to management
Define metrics/KPIs to drive our strategic goals
Observe social, political and technological developments
Examine sales markets and capital markets
Prepare competitive comparisons of peer groups / benchmark analysis
Support identification of new potentials and strategies
Postinvestment analysis and profit calculation
Coordinate and prepare midrangeplan
Perform variance analysis vs Action Plan
Analyze select processes and propose improvements

Your required qualifications:

Master in Finance/Controlling, or MBA (economics, science or equal qualification)
5 year working experience in Controlling or Consulting
Advanced knowledge of Finance and Controlling
Track record of strong business impact
Strong team player and connector with a fit to our culture

You have a high learning agility (you are a fast learner, you embrace experimentation and learning from mistakes, and constantly give and ask for feedback)

You have high emotional intelligence (you are selfaware of own emotions and manage them; show strong ability to identify emotions of others to adjust own actions, create value in interaction with others)
You have international experience (have lived and/or worked outside of home country)
Strong analytical skills and an affinity for numbers
Experience in ERP systems, databases as well as planning

- and reporting tools

Very good MS Officeskills, in particular Excel and Powerpoint
You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Your ideal qualifications:

Pharma / Biotech knowhow/experience
Experience with SAP, Cognos TM1, Cognos Analytics and Tableau
