Created on January 1st 2008, CMA Ships is a fully-owned subsidiary of CMA CGM with the objective to manage all fleet related operations.

CMA Ships is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and operates under various flags' Documents of Compliance (DOC).


A team of more than 4,700 seafarers of all nationalities including more than 300 cadets are working at sea and ashore.

It includes a Marine Human Resources Department to accompany the seafarers, a fleet management department with more than 40 superintendents ashore, a dedicated department supervising the ship-buildings, the development of IT systems and working on energy issues and innovation with engine experts, a dedicated Purchasing department, a specialized team to organize the vessel dry docks as well as a team of experts to run the Fleet Navigation and Support Center to monitor the CMA CGM fleet 24/24.


With a modern and innovative fleet to the service of excellence and safety, tomorrow's vessel devices are designed and tested such as LNG energy, engine tuning or hull shape optimizationacting every day for a more sustainable shipping Industry.

For the CMA Ships Germany entity in Hamburg we are recruiting a

Project & Development Officer (M/F/d)

Reporting to the CMA Ships Germany Managing Director, you shall:
Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
Support Managing Director in performance monitoring and managing entity development and improvement projects;
Coordinate and support development of initiatives on company processes in consideration of entity specificities;
In liaison with Quality & Standards department, ensure that entity activities meets company standards requirements such as ISO;
Participate to actions implementation related to regulatory requirements and group policies;
Coordinate training and onboarding development in cooperation with CMA CGM Group support departments;
Support and coach the different departments in strengthening root cause and problem-solving methods;
Promote quality culture;
Minimum qualifications

Master's degree in Quality or Project Management

Fluent English;
Experience

1 to 2 years experience in quality or project management preferred;
Maritime background preferred.
