E.ON Digital Technology (EDT) manages and implements with around 2,200 employees the digital transformation of E.ON. EDT is headquartered in Hanover, Germany and is internationally present across all E.ON locations.

We are looking for a
Data Strategy Specialist (M/F/d) to join our team.


Responsibilities

  • Leads the business case for datamanagement transformation—identifying, valuing, and prioritizing core data initiatives and use cases by examining where data, technology, people and processes can come together to improve quality, service, and value
  • Actively guides independent business units to build their own data strategies, plans and orchestrates the operationalization of business segment specific data strategies
  • Leads the definition, alignment, and operationalization of substrategies for our data management disciplines
  • Supports senior data management specialists in identification of synergies, opportunities, and risks along the operational data lifecycle
  • Maintains working knowledge of compliance requirements towards data and its management processes, and actively integrates requirements from data regulations into data strategy definition
  • Collects industrywide trends in how data is used for competitive advantage and takes responsibility over the identification of data driven innovation opportunities
  • Contributes to the definition of the Digital, Data and Technology learning agendas and supports in development of data strategy relevant content for training and communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in economics, digital business, business administration, computer science, governmental regulations, information management or equivalent profession
  • Extensive working experience in international management of large scale data enablement and transformation projects in a regulated and fast changing industry
  • Excellent understanding of the datamanagement, governance, strategy & architecture disciplines
  • Excellent skills in design and development of top management presentation
  • Proven track record in operationalization of data based or digital strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement and system design
  • Knowledge in setting up and facilitating decision making processes around information assets, as i.e. for official governance boards or councils
  • Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
