Task description:

GOPA Worldwide Consultants together with AFC Consulting Group are bidding for a component of the GIZ project "Assisting Reconstruction and Improving Living Conditions in Anbar" (ARILA).

The component is called "Strengthening the Vocational and Job Skills Training Sector in Anbar" and is aiming at improving livelihood opportunities through vocational education and business support in the non-agricultural field in the Eastern Anbari districts of Fallujah, Ramadi and Heet.

ARILA is implemented in conjunction with the project "Restoration of Peace, Livelihoods, and Economic Cycles in Anbar" (RePLECA), that specifically targets the agricultural sector in Anbar in the same districts as ARILA.

GOPA Worldwide Consultants is looking for experts for the "Strengthening the Vocational and Job Skills Training Sector in Anbar" component.

Envisaged commencement date is July end date 31 December months).

Qualifications:

University degree (Master's or equivalent) Education Studies/other relevant field of study
Knowledge of English, C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CERF) excellent knowledge of Arabic, B2 CERF
15 years of professional experience in the TVET sector, of which 5 years in another country (international context)
8 years of professional experience in educational governance and management and institutional advisory in the field of TVET
10 years of management/leadership experience as project team leader/manager in a company
5 years of relevant work experience in the Middle East
5 years of experience working in technical development cooperation projects
3 years project management in postconflict or (post)humanitarian context.
