Your Role and Responsibilities

The IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator is a software appliance that enables and accelerates analytical and machine learning workloads for relational databases.

It supports the most challenging and demanding customers in analyzing and dramatically accelerating their queries in Db2 z/OS. It is developed by several highly agile teams around the world.

Job Description:

Implement rest service

Migrate data from existing db systems to Db2

A student joining our team will

work in a multi-cultural team, collaborating with engineers in Germany, India and in California to develop innovative ideas

gain deep knowledge in the development life-cycle of a large project, ranging from system administration over code development and testing to integration into existing products and frameworks

benefit from the work with supervisors having a lot of experience in software development and scientific work at universities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Preuniversity qualification
Familiar with version control system Git
Knowledge of Linux/Unix system, JDBC, SQL, database system
Language proficiency equivalent to English C1 and German A
Strong Shell programming, Java, Rest services skills

Bachelor's degree
