Head of Global Supply Chain (M/F/d) to join our Editron global Supply Chain organization.


You will join a fast-growing diverse global organization that offers significant growth opportunities with a clear vision to change the world through electrification We have 4 factories, 2 located in Europe, 1 in the US and 1 in China.

You will work in close cooperation with the operational Business unit supply chain teams, business unit leaders and relevant functional leaders.


Responsibilities:


As our new Head of Global Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the creation of the Editron global supply chain strategy.

The strategy must be aligned with the business objectives like growth plans, change and improvement processes of the supply chain setup including systems and be the liaison to the operational business unit supply chain teams.


Additional tasks and responsibilities you can expect are:

  • Ensure the supply chain setup is efficient and can keep up with business plans and profitable growth;
  • Focus on the endtoend supply chain value stream. Evaluate asset risks, supply chain strategy and process improvements;
  • Alignment and change between the different global supply chain business units via program and project management;
  • Strive for supply chain /fulfilment improvement activities at business unit level as well as at division level. Deploy and improve adherence for all supply chain management processes using SAP. This includes an assessment program measuring material metrics and SAP System Health scores;
  • Identify improvement opportunities for the whole (sourcing to customer) global supply chain (tier 1, 2 etc.) all the way up to key customers. All in close collaboration with our business unit supply chain teams and local factory supply chain teams;
  • Be actively involved with material, inventory and capacity planning and control, including demand forecasting;
  • Deploy, standardize and facilitate S&OP processes. Manage the teams effectively in execution of the S&SOPs on a local, regional and global level. This includes forecasting, inventory management and intercompany trade;
  • Establish annual budgets, perform regular cost and KPI checks and risk classifications (endtoend mapping);
  • Service level agreements for our customers and our suppliers;
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements in all markets we are active. Import and export transactions need to be compliant with GTM rules and laws.

Background & Skills:


We like to see that you possess a bachelor's and or master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management or Engineering.

Preferably, 10 years or more work experience in Supply Chain Management.


Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience with SAP / BW knowledge, processes & handling and facilitation of SAP Development;
  • Good knowledge of SCM & logistic processes, VSM, KanBan, VMI and Consignment stock;
  • Able to communicate, convince and educate team and group members;
  • Be accountable and have project management skills in combination with an analytical mind set and a handson approach;
  • If you are Lean/Six sigma certified or certified for Supply Chain Management, this is considered as a major advantage;
  • Have fluent (in word and writing) language skills for the English language.
