Analyze all aspects of the existing platform and provide recommendations to enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability (in accordance to GSMA standards)
Monitor and manage our environments by integrating telemetry and observability into the platform
Continuous service improvement with focus on optimization, efficiency and high availability
Automate operational tasks and infrastructure as code
Evaluate cuttingedge technologies and integrate them into the existing systems.
Drive Innovation and efficiency gains.
Participate in our oncall rotations and be available for escalations

Ihr Profil

University degree in Computer Sciences, IT or related technical/engineering field (e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or similar working experience
Experienced in cloud (Iaas/Paas) and/or on premise datacenter
Experience with VXLAN, managing firewalls like Checkpoint and F5 load balancers
Excellent knowledge in Cisco products (DCNM, Nexus and NX-OS)
Excellent understanding of complex network and platform setups (geo redundancy)
Good understanding Linux skills, preferred RHEL and RH Satellite
Good understanding of compliance and information security requirements in service operations
Good knowledge in Ansible and Nagios/Icinga (Terraform and Jenkins would be a plus)
Analytical thinking, problemsolving and ownership mentality
Drive for selflearning and improvement
Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders
Proficient in English both written and verbal (German would be a plus).
