Your Responsibilities
- Handle the day to day activities related to Cotton Container Execution from Brazil and the US to several destination markets worldwide
- Analyse Letters of Credit and commodity contracts to match terms
- Prepare and send Documentary and Shipment Instructions/Nomination to the suppliers, establishing the necessary steps and requirements that must be fulfilled and accompanied for each shipment
- Analyse, prepare and negotiate clean documents under the corresponding L/C or contractual payment terms
- Check, approve and book invoices for payment/receipt
- Register shipping information and concerning data in the controls/systems
- Handle the monthly closing by meeting deadlines for bookings and accruals
- Prepare reports about shipments and activities
- Support other areas of the company such as Finance, Controlling, Accounting and Auditing, with information
Your Profile
- Bachelor degree or similar degree /qualification in the field of operations / logistics / international trade
- At least 3 years' experience in the field of international trade operations preferably in the field of container operations/logistics
- Advanced knowledge in the field of shipments in containers
- Deep understanding of shipping documentation and negotiation
- Demonstrated experience in providing customer solutions
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit (UCP 600) and International Standard Banking Practice (ISBP)
- Fluent in English. Good knowledge of German will be an advantage; extended ability of working with Microsoft Office
