Your Role - International, Challenging and Future-Oriented

You are the lead architect of a cloudnative, webbased simulation platform
While you have a handson mentality you are also comfortable enforcing architectural governance
You like the technical coordination of several development teams and play well together in an agile environment with the product owners and scrum master
Cybersecurity is an important factor in your architectural decisions
Your responsibility also includes a future SIMIT X ecosystem
Understanding cloud infrastructure, deployment scenarios and API & webbased test automation
Drive the evaluation of OSS and 3rd party components / offerings for use in the system
Bring a good knowledge on available services within the organization, e.g. Siemens ID, XO Foundation Services, Observability Tooling, Cloud Monitoring, Security Tooling, etc.
Be able to build a strong relationship with team architects and developers based on mutual trust

Your qualifications and skills - digital and solid

You have successfully completed your studies in informatics, software engineering or comparable field of study
You have long term years of experience as software architect in product development and a strong background in distributed system architecture
Webway of thinking employing web standards, best practices, and stateoftheart technologies
Expert in APIdesign, specification, documentation and management. Web APIs (REST/JSON, gRPC) but also lowlevel APIs.
Proficient with agile test methodology as well as test tooling on the various levels of the agile test pyramid (e.g. Playwright, MS Test Manager, Consumer Driven Testing, Performance & Security Testing)
Experience with guiding multiple development teams in Germany and India
Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and respective services as well as experience with CI/CD pipelines is required
For working in our international team you are able to speak and understand German and English
