ABOUT THIS ROLE


Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for an enthusiastic, Working Student (Werkstudent) - Workplace Operations who will support us building and preserving trusting relationships with our customers.

In this role, you will be helping Audible to be a great place to work by supporting our front and back office, supporting your colleagues with on-site and virtual team assistance, postal service, administrative work and more.

You will feel comfortable in this role if you enjoy working with data in a fast-paced environment, take pride in delivering accurate results, and have a passion for technology and media, specifically spoken word audio.

As a Working Student in Workplace Operations, you will...

  • Support the reception team being first point of contact for all internal and external guests including VIPs and narrators visiting Audible Studios
  • Act as a person of contact for external janitorial, housekeeping and other vendors, support our office coordinator managing building maintenance and appointments
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier services and overnight deliveries
  • Support with administrative tasks in the front and back office area, order management
  • Provide onsite and virtual team assistance for Audible EU teams
  • Create and update internal wiki pages
  • Support our daily business

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • You are enrolled as a student in your Bachelor or Master in Berlin or Brandenburg for at least 1 more year
  • Microsoft Office Experience
  • Business fluency in German and English both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications

  • Great attitude, warm, welcoming and approachable.
  • Roll up your sleeves mentality, a candoattitude and try different things with mínimal direction.
  • Results oriented with a strong bias for action, even in ambiguous, fluid situations.
  • Demonstrated multitasking and problemsolving skills in a fastpaced, timesensitive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of people.
  • Previous work experience in a back office/office management role.
  • Skills in handling ticketing systems (JIRA).
  • Hospitality experience.
