Your Role

The Digital Business Platforms department is globally responsible for all customer and consumer-facing digital interfaces, including B2C Platforms.

The B2C Platforms Department primary goals are to (1) drive consumer conversion to store and (2) foster ZEISS brand loyalty.

After the initial launch in February 2024, the newly developed global B2C loyalty platform - MyZEISS Vision - is being rolled out to further markets.

Some of these markets already have locally developed loyalty platforms, which will inform the feature development of the global solution.

MyZEISS Vision plays a central role in the overarching strategy for the B2C Platforms, by connecting various solutions alongside the consumer journey for user and business benefit.

The job holder will help to define the roadmap for the global B2C loyalty platform and lead iterative value delivery in coordination with internal and external stakeholders, aligning the view with the Head of B2C Platforms.

The role holder will lead the existing cross-functional project team in close alignment and collaboration with internal suppliers, to ensure a coherent user journey.

Representing the business perspective to support the departments business goals, while maintaining a consumer centric approach for the solution design.

In addition, the role holder will work closely with internal stakeholders, outside of the DBT department are Vision Board of Management, other Marketing departments, Omnichannel Sales, country-based leadership, operational teams and ZEISS Meditec.


The job holder's key responsibilities are:

  • Lead the development of the global B2C loyalty platform for maximum business value and excellent customer & consumer experience.
  • Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog according to rollout timelines and features relevant for the respective markets
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they're clearly understood by relevant teams
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
  • Product analysis of existing features within local B2C loyalty platforms to build a comprehensive global B2C loyalty platform
  • Closely collaborate with other specialised teams such as the UX and Data teams, as well as Digital Solution teams, e.g. Digital Marketing, B2C Website, In-Store Applications
  • Design solutions, perform acceptance testing, create user documentation, and support the rollout of new product features
  • Ensure product documentation is updated and maintained
  • Serve as product ambassador, sharing knowledge and answering questions
  • Key Competencies: The purpose of the ZEISS Core Competency Model is to ensure a well aligned and common ZEISS talent language defining what good looks like and ensuring comparable, reliable, and effective evaluation of mission critical behaviours. The core competency model defines the key behaviours enabling #agenda25 and creating the desired ZEISS culture across all lines of business. There are 12 competencies making up the Core Competency model and the job holder is expected to strive to develop each one. However, three competencies below have been selected as particularly relevant for this role

Your Profile


Education (preferred not essential):

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline
Work Experience- 3-4 years relevant experience- Proven product owner success in results-focused delivery- Proficiency with applicable project management tools and methodologies Specific

Knowledge/Skills- Demonstrable product management delivery skills- Demonstrable people management and people development skills- Evidence of effective global and senior stakeholder management- Significant digital transformation experience- Proven business impact as a result of digital product or strategy ownership- The ability to navigate a complex multi-market landscape, and to find efficient and feasible solutions to problems that arise from distributed processes- A strategic, data-driven mindset and the ability to think cross-functional- Results focused delivery and accountability- A motivation to continuously explore new ways to unlock improve the UX and support the business goals (conversion to purchase and brand loyalty)
