This role, based in Frankfurt/Germany, is going to join our European Internal Audit team to take ownership and deliver a complex and challenging portfolio of audits.

Your tasks:

• Deliver high quality outputs in provision of opinion, adhering to methodology and quality framework set by Group Internal Audit (GIA) and IIA standards
• Own the planning and delivery of an audit portfolio, utilising a thorough understanding of risk universe and risk management framework
• Build and proactively manage relationships with key stakeholders and committees
• Build strong twoway communication links with Other Assurance Providers (OAP) and ensure OAP outputs are factored into audit planning and macroopinions.
• Take ownership of building macro control and risk management opinions
• Identify risks and key root causes across varied key business areas, and articulating an appropriate control position to senior management

Your profile:

• Relevant degree or qualified by experience
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. accounting, audit, insurance, risk management etc)
• Excellent planning, coordination and organisation skills, balancing audit delivery with external demands and managing multiple priorities
• Ability to proactively plan for future challenges and changes to audits / audit plan
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills with the ability to influence at a senior level.
• Track record of continuous improvement and embracing change
• Very good English and German language skills essential

Working with maximum flexibility:
Our employees can work both in the office and on the move. Only four days of presence in the office in Frankfurt-Niederrad per month are mandatory.

In addition, a working time account enables a good work-life balance and the weekly working time of 38.5 hours can be flexibly arranged between 6 am and 9 pm.
