Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the development and implementation of the internal and external hardware strategy (edge devices) in line with gridX's long-term goals and vision.

Technical Lead:
You continuously improve the hardware experience of our customers.

To generate rapid growth, you optimize our current and future hardware to meet the broad requirements of scalability, cost, quality and security.

Executioner:

In cooperation with our development department, project managers and solution engineers, you are responsible for the implementation, documentation and continuous improvement of our hardware strategy.

You identify potentials as well as risks and you are in close contact with all relevant teams to ensure efficient processes.

Communicator:
You identify yourself with our products and you are really keen to work on hardware topics. You also transfer this spirit to our customers and partners.

Profile:

Education:

Your technical education, with a focus on embedded systems or comparable, has paved the way for you to become an Expert for Embedded Systems / IoT / IIoT with a strong focus on technology.

Experience:

Your work in edge computing / IoT / cloud business and your solid understanding of edge gateways will enable you to become our specialist implementing our hardware strategies.

Mindset:
To get your job done, you quickly find the right balance between details and the big picture. You independently identify challenges throughout the product life cycle and proactively search for solutions together with your sparring partners.

Strengths:
You have a technical background combined with a strong doer mentality. You want to be our absolute hardware brain and are able to adapt quickly to constant change.

Specialities:
First experiences in the field of renewable energies are nice to have, but not a must-have.

You have worked on a product that has been rolled out many times, because we have big plans for our products.
