We are looking for a

Data Scientist (gn) - Forecast Virtual Power Plant

You will take ownership and professionalize the forecasts for our Prosumer & Virtual Power Plant optimization
You develop algorithms and machine learning models to make predictions, derive recommendations, or automate decision making
You work with energy experts, data analysts and engineers
You develop statistical models of our data to establish causal relationships and understand trends
Designing, executing and evaluating tests is as much a concern as quality assurance of forecasts

Your skills

You have successfully completed a scientific or mathematical degree or a comparable course of study
You have experience in data science in a professional context
You have experience in energy data modelling, ideally energy price and volume forecasts
You have programming skills in Python including relevant machine learning frameworks
You are able to explain and visualize complex issues in an easily understandable way and enjoy communicating with colleagues from your own and other teams
