You'll join more than 6,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem.

YOUR TEAM:


For the department "Parking Functions" we are looking for an intern or working student for the project "Automated Parking Concept Development".


Our department works on innovative automated parking functions ranging from the final parking maneuver to an automated drive through a parking facility.

We develop functional and architectural concepts and extend our software stack with existing solutions from all over VW Group as well as our own concept modules in situation interpretation, trajectory planning and decision making.

Finally, we test our software in simulation and in prototype vehicles at our testing side in Ingolstadt.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Extend our concept software modules write exciting code together with our developers
  • Collaborate with experts throughout the group to integrate concept solutions in our stack
  • Test and analyze our functions in the simulation and in the vehicle
  • Support the whole development cycle (e.g. requirement definition, scenario based test generation, evaluation scripts)

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Enrolled student in the area of computer science, electrical or automotive engineering
  • Good coding skills (C++/ Python preferred; object oriented programming and embedded skills beneficial)
  • Analytical understanding of complex systems and creative problem solving skills
  • Great team player and experience with collaborative coding
  • Independent, structured and resultoriented working method
  • Driving license class B
  • Solid communication skills in English; German is beneficial

NICE TO KNOW:


  • Duration: 6 months
  • Up to 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during the semester break
