Our hair care category is a fast-paced and growing part of our whole Dyson business. You will take this success story and the storytelling to the next level.

You will be leading the hair care category from a communications perspective:

Developing creative and tailormade Comms strategies and campaigns for Dyson's HC products and also being responsible for the execution of these strategies, whilst detecting trends, developing them further and implementing them with pinpoint accuracy.

This will include Classic Media as well as Influencers.


What we are looking for:


About the role:

Internal Comms + JDA (DACH + foreseeable to support NEU Cluster)

  • Regular newsletters to be shared with the whole German team
  • Support internal channels like German IG-Channel to engage the team
  • Development, implementation and organisation of internal events (e.g. internal launches)
  • Realisation and handling of the annual James Dyson Award in the DACH markets including press relations, jury meetings, cooperation with universities
  • Support with PR campaigns of all kinds and external events
  • Supporting the DACH communications team with administrative tasks (e.g. POs, Vendor setup, Seedings etc.)
Influencer Lead Germany

  • Supporting general Influencer requests for Germany, xcategory, connecting of Comms, Media and Commercial
  • Handling of Influencer reportings and adhoc campaigns xcategory
  • Maximize earned outcome of Influencer cooperations
  • Approval of Influencer content
  • Create Influencer strategies to support the Dyson message and to reach the right target audience
  • Work with social media, content, and marketing teams to maximize communications initiatives on channels outside of traditional media.
  • Write thorough creative briefs to request support and materials for projects and launches
Communicate

  • Work in tandem with the DACH marketing teams and other departments within the DACH business to support business goals as well as the NEU Cluster to support internal Comms in all NEU markets
  • Work with the Group Communications team to inform Dyson's global PR strategy
  • Be the local expert, spotting trends and sharing opportunities with the global PR team
  • Be an active part of a global network of PR people share best practices, ideas, etc.
  • Support the Influencer approach, setting strategy around major initiatives, including product launches, events, etc.
  • Identify problems and find solutions

Skills and Competencies:


  • At least 2 years' experience in a communications role (preferably experience in internal communications)
  • Fundamental knowledge of Influencer Management in the DACH area
  • Strategic thinking: demonstrates ability to take a broad overview of issues and to identify most salient points. Take an inventive approach.
  • Ability to create and effect change in processes and people
  • Ability and confidence in building relationships with senior executives and various departments in the market
  • Ability to navigate a fastpaced and deadline orientated environment
  • Experience with live streaming, newsletters, video production and event management is desirable
  • Experience in leading a comprehensive communications strategy to promote an organisation's objectives
  • Expertise in digital and experience working with various multimedia channels
  • Excellent selfmanagement skills; ability to influence and engage people across the organisation to effect change.
  • Ability to think on your feet, creativity and organisational skills
  • Analytical skills: Identifies and analyzes key trends, issues, problems and solutions. Reasons logically and accurately with financial and numerical information. Ensures details are not overlooked.
  • Collaborative: Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of people both within the Communications team and other teams across the DACH and Global business. Works cooperatively with others as part of a team, as opposed to working separately or competitively.
