    Mantell Associates are currently partnered with a leading Biotech in their search for a Director of Upstream Processing to become a critical part of their leadership team.

    Director of Upstream Processing - Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with colleagues and multiple external partner companies to analyse upstream and downstream processes and recommend process improvements
    • Design and execute process development studies, identify technical issues and implement solutions
    • Ensure high-quality, timely documentation, following appropriate guidelines and regulations and enforce technical reports
    • Develop and present project strategies
    • Lead and coach a team of scientists
    • Oversee development and optimisation of processes

    Director of Upstream Processing - Requirements:

    • Higher educational qualification in Biological Sciences
    • Experience with leading and managing people and teams
    • Knowledge of and experience with upstream processes
    • Strong understanding and experience in cGMP guidelines, FDA regulations and working in compliance with regulatory bodies
