Overview


The Medical Science Liaison
(MSL) serves as the primary field-based point of contact with healthcare providers (HCPs) including clinical investigators on a range of clinical and scientific issues.

The primary role is to carryout medical affairs activities in assigned geography including deliver and facilitate medical education and communications, KOL identification, engagement and collaborations, and scientific insight gathering activities.

This includes the provision of scientific and medical data on products and indications as permissible by local laws and regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains in a selfdriven manner outstanding knowledge of multiple myeloma and relevant disease areas
  • Develops and maintains in a selfdriven manner outstanding knowledge of our customers products, competitor products, and other therapeutic options within therapeutic area
  • Develop and implement country medical plans fully aligned with launch and medical strategy
  • Lead medical affairs project such as advisory board meetings, scientific symposia, webinars, medical input into country and regional level market access initiatives
  • Maintains and develops synergistic relationships with KOLs to expand research, advisory, and educational partnership opportunities
  • Provides effective clinical presentations to internal and external audiences and tailors presentations to meet specific audience needs
  • Works to the highest ethical compliance, ethics and safety standards adhering to all local regulations and laws

Job Requirements

  • MSL experience required
  • Advanced terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD)
  • Experience in the field of Oncology required
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of local healthcare systems and treatment guidelines
  • Experience and ability to provide appropriate medical support for market access and commercial activities
  • Demonstrate ability to develop trust and maintain integrity with KOLs/External Clinical and Scientific Experts, investigators, HCPs, and institutions; as well as with peers, and others.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to role
  • Excellent presentation, communication skills
