We are on a steep growth curve, and we are looking for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team.

In this role you will be exposed to all aspects of Finance work at a startup with an international footprint.

You will be exposed to a high level of freedom and responsibility from day one.

We want your involvement in the financial and business controlling of the Habyt Group, actively supporting our Finance Team in shaping the financial future of Habyt.

This position will be based in Portugal or Germany with a hybrid/remote set up.


Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of controllers and internal/external accountants
  • Leading the implementation of new ERP system
  • Responsible for 35 years of business plans, budgeting and forecasting and coordinating with stakeholders on assumptions and inputs
  • Managing and running of all management accounting and reporting within the organization
  • Creating, reporting and monitoring KPIs by ensuring right metrics are used across the organization
  • Build own models from scratch and improve existing financial models to capture complex business dynamics to help support strategic decision making
  • Ensure local and group financial statements are prepared in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and existing local and fiscal law to obtain clean audit opinions
  • Implement processes and policies to improve performance of current monthend and yearend closing
  • Assist management with financial planning including presentations and other ad hoc analysis

Your Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 57 years experience and proven track record in managing a FP&A function
  • Experience with ERP implementation is a must
  • Experience in startups/ scaleups preferred with a strong commercial acumen
  • Able to solve problems and communicate effectively with the team
  • Advanced Excel Skills and ability to work with other software suites
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders, from employees to management as well as external partners
  • Quick learner, able to work under pressing deadlines and changing priorities
