Tasks


YOUR ROLE

• Drive the legal strategy on compliance processes, including standards, policies and their implementation both internally and at the management level
• Provide legal guidance and actively support regulatory submissions, licensing (BaFin), market access activities and new product launches
• Manage Walbing's legal work and daytoday legal matters, including but not limited to contract design, legal guidance and litigation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders within the business or outside counsel
• Keep Walbing's management and colleagues apprised of significant developments and trends with regards to regulations and changes in legal matters

Requirements:


YOUR KEY QUALIFICATIONS
years of experience in similar functions, ideally in financing companies with digital business models, factoring law etc

• Degree in law (German or international)
• Broad based knowledge and practical experience of general corporate law, contract design and regulatory law impacting the financial industry
• IT law is an advantage
• Solid work experience in designing and implementing compliance procedures, ideally with BaFin experience
• Understanding of innovative business models, ideally in the fintech domain
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional commitment to quality as well as team work
• Enthusiastic and selfmotivated to develop strategies and to manage responsibilities independently in a fastpaced and dynamic FinTech environment
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal skills in English and German; additional fluency in other languages is highly valued
